About

Ioanna Souflia is the designer behind the homonym brand. Born and Raised in Athens, Ioanna Souflia cultivated her passion for jewelry while studying Law at the National Kapodistrian University of Greece. The designer received silversmithing training from the Mokume Institute of Athens before moving to London to study Jewelry Design where she graduated with Honors from Central Saint Martins.

Influenced by her contrasting training the designer’s aesthetic is shaped from the unique pairing of opposing elements. Embracing an array of diverse stimuli that infatuate her; the dominant presence of sculpture, the captivating decoration of Art Deco, the elegant simplicity of Minimalism, the powerful awe of Futurism and the softness of organic beauty, Ioanna Souflia seeks to embody these sentiments into jewelry and designs her own world of unique adornments that set out to differentiate the wearer.

Ioanna Souflia made her debut at London Fashion Week SS15 where she presented her collection in between at the show of fashion designer Jean-Pierre Braganza. While setting up her brand, the designer’s work has been exhibited at Goldsmith Centre in London and featured in fashion and design magazines worldwide, according to which she is one of the designers to watch within the next few years.

ADOUCISSEMENT COLLECTION

Adoucissement” explores the evolution of intensity. As the seed of “ecstasy” flourishes into tendemess, “Adoucissement” reflects the ethereal warmth of progression.

A capsule collection of eleven pieces disguised in a cotton candy peplum of grey Bardiglio imperiale marble, 14K rose gold and white and grey brilliant cut diamonds.

Reminiscent of the sunset warm palette “Adoucissement” reaffirms the distinctive sculptural elements of Ioanna’s Souflias work, while reflecting a desire to introduce a “smoother” approach of the tone, volume and contrast between her two old favorites: marble and gold.

ADIEU COLLECTION

In a multicolor homage to the two previous collections that introduced her sculptural fine
jewelry, Ioanna Souflia presents Adieu.
As crisp lines and feminine curves continue to complement each other in Ioanna Souflia’s
unique design aesthetic, the strict division of color becomes blur.
Rose and black gold, grey Bardiglio Imperiale and white Thasos marble, white and grey round
brilliant cut diamonds merge in a limited number of four pieces shaping an enchanting
farewell to the iconic stone.

BLUEPRINTS COLLECTION

Ioanna Souflia invites you to a walk around the city looking up.

Blueprints, is a visual documentation of metropolitan skies through the grid of architectural presence. Each piece of jewelry is a frame, capturing the endless canvas of intricate urban volumes and how they interact with, shape and ultimately reveal the blue.

Following the distinctive sculptural aesthetic of her previous collections, Ioanna Souflia deconstructs volume, designing blueprints of jewelry, documenting their crisp contours, while still reflecting the sculptural identity of her work and her minimal-maximalist aesthetic.

Crafted in 18K rose gold, triangular midnight blue sapphires and brilliant cut white diamonds, Blueprints introduces 14 pieces that speak of mystery, strength and femininity.
